“There’s a freeway run-in through the yard”

Drove into the LA basin yesterday and the temperature dropped about 30 degrees!

I booked a room in Glendale, it is supposedly 4.5 miles from the stadium, but it took over 30 minutes to drive there. I told the GPS AI to avoid freeways, and it was quite a ride….

Dodger Stadium, now the third oldest standing is in a ravine, and at street level you enter at about the second deck of a stadium built from the ground up. I had a field level seat on the first base line so I had to descend two levels and then go down some stairs to get about 10 rows from the field!

There are certainly a lot of pricey suites, and some very beautiful displays of memorabilia as you go through the suite level.
