Today I visited “Citizens Bank Park ” home of the Philadelphia Phillies hosting the St Louis Cardinals for a Day game!
Somehow it didn’t occur to me while planning my trip how hot it might be especially for day games! It was 86 degrees with minimal shade, I had a seat in the second row but stayed in row 35 for the entire game to have a bit of shade!
In spite of the heat both teams have their all jockeying between leading, tying and ultimately besting when the Phillies managed to get a go ahead run and hold it winning 4-3!
Wow, you have covered a lot of ground fast. Sort of like a fast ball, ha.
We always thought summer started on Memorial Day weekend when I was growing up in Queens. Looks like a great day!
