The Dropkick Murphys song For Boston captures the essence of the crowd at a Red Sox game. Fenway is the oldest MLB ballpark and has aged gracefully, literally expanding at the seams by utilizing the surrounding streets as part of the venue.

The Mariners were visiting and I was one of a handful wearing Mariners gear, the crowd was a sea of Red! The M’s took an early lead and never let go of it! There were a few controversial calls, and the fans are quite vocal when they disagree with the Umpires!

I was not too impressed with the food options, couldn’t find anything unique to the location but all the people I met were friendly even though I was clearly an M’s fan! I took the train to the game and was literally adopted for the ride by a wonderful couple who are part of Red Sox Nation! Thank you and everyone along the way who has been so kind on this journey!

Today I am going to the Baseball Hall of Fame as I head towards my next game in Detroit!
